Final Post for 2009 season

Sorry everyone for not keeping you updated for the final part of the season. It got extremely hectic with our schedule at the end of the season with 3 matches per week. It was a season that was full of peaks and valleys, with some great set wins over some top teams in the conference and some unfortunate inconsistencies in our level of play against teams that we were evenly matched. It was most certainly clear that we are still in our rebuilding phase and right near the end of the "transition" into the new style of play. We have a majority of the pieces to put ourselves in the hunt within the GPAC, we still need to find the complete fiery competitive team-first attitude from all of the pieces to get us to our goals.

It is going to be a great progressive off-season for us coming up. We have hired a strength and conditioning coach to help bring our athletic talents to another level. We will also be putting great focus on certain skill developments for each athlete to get each individual to the next level of playing ability. We are going to have a great focus on the ability to read defensive play as well as get our attackers to be able to make different types of shots to different areas of the court. It is going to be a fun off-season and everyone is looking forward to the great progression ahead.
